The long awaited wait is over. A 6th generation CF hood is coming SOON!!!!!

It would basically be for show only, considering that our hoods are extremely light and durable as they are; yes you'd save some weight but nothing significant from what i've heard. But how much?

u 6th gen guys are ricers....

this would be a nice cosmetic mod...Hope everything pulls thru with quality for you guys...

Put a scoop on mine, over the IM ! or at least some vents.

about the thread, i wouldnt replace my aluminum hood with cf one,

I'd get one if it had vents or something more aggressive, but NOT ricey.

I would get one oem style, its better than nothing..

Is this too ricey for "most"?

Can't wait for vis to finish the carbon fiber hoods. I just hope they weren't bs'in. When i called to get a price for an 06 civic hood i asked about the maxima. They said they're still working on it. Can't wait!!!!!!

There definitely has to be some kind of vent or something which distinguishes the hood from the OEM, other than carbon fiber.

That's nice but a little over the top to me. Definately like the middle vent but I would rather it face the front for more cooling to the hot pipes underneath...

what are the main things to remember when installing a new hood carbon or non for that matter.. i was thinking about ripping my current one out to correlate with my upcoming body kit mods

some vents would be better for a more aggresive look

i think a cf hood would look hot as hell on the car below.

I think the little vents on the sides are all thats needed. You don't need to make it bulgy with the scoop.
