shorter shift knob length

shorter shift **** length

i was wondering if there are any prodcuts out there that reduce the height of the manual shift **** so it is shorter in length?

no there are none. i beleive there are a few of us who have hacked at ours. you lose your reverse lock but it doesn't bother me and i personally like the look and feel of it now much better.

no there isnt anything like that for the 6th gens and the 5.5 gens. tehre are short throws outthere and i sell some as well

I would hack mine but I wouldnt feel comfortable without the reverse lockout. Also, didnt someone say the stock **** couldnt be used with a chopped shifter? Another disadvantage for me because I really like the stock shift ****.

There is a way to do it and retain both lock-out ring and stock shift ****. Its been done on a 5.5 before.
