Rear shock mounts...
Rear shock mounts...
...is there a problem with the rear shock mounts by chance? By problem I mean are they like the frront struts that blow out on almost every Maxima? I ask this because after I installed my RSB/endlinks there is an annoying creak while turning over bumps. And I just got KYB shocks and just relubed the mounts/bushings last night and adjusted the endlinks accordingly to the drop. The noise isn't major, but enough for ME to hear and it gets a little frustrating knowing that it's still there after relubing it and making sure everything was alright.
So anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks

I had the same sounds for months after mounting the RSB, I made Nissan to changed my Rear Shocks, they adjusted everything related to suspension, and still the noise, so I asked them to relube the RSB bushings, they didn't even notice that it wasn't OEM, they did it, and noise was gone. It has been 3 months and still no sounds.
Note, they did order the bushings, they called me back in July that they got them, they are still waiting for me to go, are they dumb or something?

Also I noticed that the bushings were sliced in one spot so that they could be put on the bar...is that how it's supposed to be done?

Well from my experience, the red poly bushing makes the most noise. The black poly is the better one. As for the red poly you have to keep it contantly lube but make sure you use electrical grease for it. Not regular bearing grease. Good luck
