Picture of BEFORE and AFTER Drop - HERE

Well all the newbies have been asking (not that I am a veteran here) about droping the car. Well, below you will find a before and after pictures of my max. In one shot I have changed to Catman (Progress) Springs, KYB shocks and struts, Catman (Progress) RSB and Racingline Stabilizer Links.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, thats my brother holding the measuring tape.

i had an interesting thought, for us, the ones taht have HID's, would we have to relevel them due to the fact the front is pointing down about 1.1" for it to work like stock beam levels?

Thats interesting, never thought about it. How do you adjust? do you have to go to a specialist to get that done?

As in a dozen or so turns on the adjustment, or couldn't see ahead thru the curve on canyon? It was noticeable the first time I was on my way home after dark.

The adjusting screws are in the back of the headlights. It's easier to have the dealer or a mechanic do it though.

No I had my mechanic do it for me. Looking at the guy seems easy but when you got "zero" tools its impossible. Charged me $200 for changing springs, struts, shocks, RSB, Endlinks and to realign

what kind of struts are you using ? OEM , GR-2 or AGX ?

Personally I hate GR-2s , they are basically OEM , Ive had issues with them with my u13 Altima , blew 2 brand new sets of them in less than a year

I use GR-2s from KaYaBa. I have heard that these are anywhere from 15-30% stiffer than OEM. So far no problems; its been on the max for about 3 months. As to the stiffness - THEY ARE STIFF, at least on NYC roads. Just a bit too rough but for now I'll handle.
