Who Leased Who bought???

leasing would have been a money saver but I wanted to buy my own. It gives me the satisfaction of knowing that this car is mine and I can do modifications and travel as far as I want without worring about leasing terms...
so i want to **** in my car and travel to Brazil, I can do it....

I couldn't lease because of mileage driven so I bought. Well, at least I can do whatever I won't with it and not worry about every tiny dent or scratch and believeyoume, it happens in brooklyn all the time. People just don't give a sh-t about anybody else's possesions.

I leased. I never had intentions of taking my Max this far. When I bought it I was like "OK lower it, rims stereo done" But thanks to Maxima.org it's gone a bit furthur. Also up until now I've always had a car for about 3 years and then got bored and wanted something new, not this time, I love my Max! Looks like I will be riding this one out just in time for the 7th gen to comeout....de mod...start over.

My first lease was on the '00, but it was leased by the company I owned at the time and was expensed. Same with the '03. Now, I have sold the company and no longer can expense it. However, I'm "trapped" in lease mode because I had no trade-in equity. With two kid's in college the down payment and/or monthly payments would have been too high to carry on a purchase.
For better or worse, the other five vehicles I own outright. What I REALLY need to do is sell the Volvo (nice car - great ride/handling compromise, phenomenal stereo and the best OEM seats out there - but the tranny sucks), the GMC (another refugee from the business that sits 95% of the time) and the Lincoln (awful car that was my father-in-law's before he passed away - my wife thinks it IS her father and won't sell it, even though it sits 95% of the time, too). With those as equity, I certainly could have looked at a purchase, even something a little further upmarket.

Either way it is rather juvenile to argue about it, so sorry for my lapse in decorum.

All of my Maxes have been bought. I like to drive and the 00 has 129k on it and the 05 has 43k on it... I kinda want to see the 7th gen before I get another Maxima... I want them to make a ***** red like they did on the 99 and the mid 90's... I would be all over that. Bought, of course.

At least he admits that his parents bought it. Life's unfair, deal with it.
