Im looking at brembos but they are only solid faced I want something that looks good too becuase in the summer im looking to put some rims on. I see powerslot has slotted ones, but is there anything im missing as far as any other good brands you have, im not looking for a big brake kit but something better then oem. and also what pads do you guys recomend. i know its alot for one post but any help is greatly appreciated. Since you want "looks" as well then I would highly recommend RTP rotors and Hawk HPS pads. The rtp rotors are zinc plated, so the usual parts that rust away will NOT rust and will have a shiny silver sparkle to them, as long as you do not use any chemicals to clean your wheels. You should also look into SS brake lines, cheap but very much worth it.

As for the Brembos, I almost know for a fact that they are not zinc plated because that is what made my buy the RTP rotors.

The guy to buy them from is automax95 in the g/b section. I got mine $345 shipped for 4 rotors and pads f/r

I too went with the GB deal (only I got blanks), and have been happy with the produts. Instead of the Hawk HPS pads, I went with their ceramic pads instead. They grip really well and leave no dust and are super quiet. I've only recently heard them squeel at all and it is just for a second or so very intermittantly (I'm not sure why yet).

The only 'odd' thing I would mention about these rotors is that when I break, it seems that the machining marks make a slight "hissing" noise, although that seems to go away with time (as others have reported as well).
