Looks great...nice choice! It will look even better after the drop. Now wash 'em up & put a nice coat of sealant wax on them.

Thanks, the 19" Rays look good too. Did you use Progressive springs?

Thanks, I took a chance but I like how they look. They say Hyper silver but these look almost Gunmetal or Satin. I'll try too wax them up soon.

Got them here.......... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-8-...80945724QQrdZ1

I bet the hype black will look great! $622 shipped, including Nissan chrome center caps and chrome valve stems. 5 day shipping. The rims come with blank chrome center caps already. The silver 6gen on page one also has the same exact rims.

Mounted them on stock RS-A's until summer.

G35 coupe wheels are ugly. Nobody should buy them. If you have them, please get rid of them.

Smokin u beat me to it, I had this idea a while ago becuase I bought rims from ebay from the same guy for my audi and I saw these and thought they would be nice since they showed alot of brake. but i had to choose between a valentine one or rims and I chose those. But since u have them I was looking for that finish but i have a white maxima and Im not a fan of bling bling. so in your personal opinion would chrome look better on white or this finish?

I think chrome on white would even itself out. I've seen the hyper on white 5th gens and lowered Altima's, they look good too. I think someone mentioned these wheels in black. Maybe black with chrome center caps.

All four wheels are 18X8. No spacers. Fits perfect with stock tires. If I'm correct, OEM infinity coupe rims with the 5th gens have a problem with the rear dust caps and the center caps not fitting correctly. I don't know if the OEM version would give the 6th gen the same problem? Replicas' don't have this problem.

I installed OEM Infinity (on the back side they say Nissan) G35 18X8's all the way around with +30MM offsets.

I mounted 245/45 Bridestone tires all the way around with the front end lowered 1.5 inches. I love the wider stance (due to the offset) which brings the wheels more flush with the wheel wells. Absolutely no rubbing at all. I will say that I can't lower the rear end now.

The only modification I had to do was dremmel my front axles in about 1/8 of a inch for the nissan caps to fit properly.

My car is a 6th Gen Maxima. Here are some pictures (if this works)...

Coolmax05, those look great on white. These look like a more stylish version of stock rims. Are those replica's? and did you lower the front on oem struts?

They are OEM G35 18X8's all the way around. Yes I did lower the fronts 1.5 inches (rated) using HR springs I picked up from the tire rack. I do still have the OEM front struts installed.

HR springs-the good: Factory ride is maintained and improved handling

HR springs-the bad: Only got about 1.25 inches and the front is still .75 inches above the rear even tho I didn't do the rears.

Can you throw on larger tires to eat up some of that gap in the wheelwell?

I've seen our cars lowered on stock rims/tires and the gap didn't look to bad.

Well I doubt I'd want to lower my car, so if I got a little bit larger tires do you think that would help out the large gap between the wheel well and probably the 18s that I'd get?

Lets see, stock is 245/45/18's on a 7.5 inch wide wheel with about a +40mm offset.

If you go to lets say 245/50/18's then it would not look good or perform as well. The added sidewall would contradict the look you're trying for but would help feel the gap. Also your speedometer would be off. And if you go with a norrower tire with added sidewall it would look even worse.

Honestly-lowering the car is the only wise choice for filling the wheel gap in front. Is it cost that's keeping you from doing it? If you look hard enough a used one will be come up for sale at a fraction of the cost. If it's ride quality then go with HR springs. They won't hardly effect your ride quality at all but as you can see you only get between 1.25-1.5 inches lower.

The progress or eibachs springs get you lower. The progress springs do degrade your ride quality a fair amount. I have heard that eibachs ride quality is better than progress altho I suspect HR springs ride quality is better than progress or even eibachs.

As someone already alluded to, not a good idea. I lowered the front only, and it doesn't feel bad at all. VERY, VERY little pogo. I'd recommend staying at the correct size regardless of what you do.

honestly, If you get a good deal on the rims its worth it, But I couldnt see paying good money for a set of "stock" nissan/infiniti rims. - I do like them though.
