Those ridin on Ksports...opinions

I'm looking to get a set of the orange hotness that is Ksport coilovers and those of you are ridin them now,I need some opinions on ride quality. I never had lowering springs so I really have no lowered suspension comparison. What are the differences over a lowered shock/strut/spring setup? The guys with the ksports in states that get cold weather/snow...do you leave them on yearound or pull them around fall? Are they withstandable ride wise for a daily driven max? Also, what inch ride height drop do you have them set at? Thanks Guys!

Maybe pm NCSU_max, or blackmaxx96,

They are my source for Ksport questions. They are a wealth of information!

Ive got them, I like the adjustability and handling but it is quite stiff. I dont drive my car daily anymore but I could, just not as comfortable as my murano on stock suspension, and I have a 35 series tire on 19s so thats not helpin either. They do make a lil noise and need to be tightened occasionally unless u can live with it which I do.

Ksport coilovers are some real nice suspension. The quality is one of the best. Theyre just alittle more bouncy than stock, but tolerable. I love them. Mine are sitting right about tire tuck, best of all it total makes the cars appearance extremely nice. Theyre really easy to install, especially the rear, just make sure you have 2 extra nuts to mount the rear ksport coilvers. Cuz the stock shocks, the nut is welded to the shock and you can only use the bolt; you'll then need a nut for that bolt.

Those who have Elite's with Ksports, how do you guys access the rear suspension to adjust them? I took my whole back seats and center console apart and the trunk panels and I can't seem to find a place where you can reach and adjust the rear suspension? Any input? It's like it's sealed off in its own metal capsule.

Thanks for all the info, I though more guys on here were riding on ksports though. I'm real concerned about havin them on year round, esp in the cold weather/snow.

I have them and the ride is pretty stiff comapred to stock or Eibachs. But with the RSB, FSTB and the T1-R's this thing is stuck to the road like you wouldn't beleive. When I got mine it was more for looks (can't stand the front gap, even with Eibachs) But after getting used to the ride, the handling alonemakes it worth it, it's like a go-kart!!!

Stiff meaning you feel every bump in the road (uncomfortable may be the personal opinion of some) I'm used to it now and have driven lowered cars and raised trucks all my life...

Yeah, uncomfortable depends on your tolerance. To me the Ksports are really comfortable and Im pretty sure Jsmith would agree. I drove a pretty slammed 98 prelude sh before this car so Im used to the ride quality of coilovers. But these Ksports ride much much better than the tein's I had on my prelude.
