Switched it up...

Thanks for the compliments guys... I was quoted over $300 to do this. So instead I spent $8 on vinyl. Thats right, vinyl. If I ever want to change it im not out anything. All I did was make a pattern and had a shop cut me 50 of them. I figured Id have extras. Believe it or not I only wasted 2 during the LONG install process. I really like it, It looks great in person. The centers of my spokes are recessed so I made them a little bit smaller to fit inside the spoke. There shouldn't be any problems with debris. I'll have to be kinda careful at the car wash though. I thought about doing black, but theres to many "split spoke" wheels out there already.

Its as durable as everyones vinyl eyelids... My spokes are recessed so the film is basically tucked into the spoke. Im sure sand and stuff might pit it over time. Ive got plenty of extras.

I think you car looks BAD A$$!! Our Max is driven by my wife. I have company car. My real question is how much ride do you sacrifice to look good. Don't get me wrong, I love the look, but I don't know and don't want to have the rigid ride + tires blowing out because I hit a pothole?

^ It rides a little rough w/the 20's. But it's an SE, it wasent the smoothest ride to start with. I see your in wichita... You should bring the max up to one of our meets sometime. I believe our next one is in Olathe. I'll PM you the details.
