smoking headlight question

ive gone through the stickies and no one has seemed to mention anything about painting the yellow sidemarkers. the 3g tl's have a clear piece behind the yellow sidemarkers and i was wondering if we had the same thing. I was thinking of getting the yellow sidemarkers smoked as well when i get my headlight housings smoked next next week.

Are our headlights like this behind the sidemarker?

Can i just paint on top of the sidemarker to make it look like this ?

well the meet in stanton was an hour drive for me. if we can get one closer than that, im down to go. and i was wondering deus if since u had already taken the headlights apart if i could and it would be alright to paint the yellow sidemarker as well instead of putting on that overlay.

U could paint it, but the overlay is so easy, Id go for that. That way, if the cops happen to stop u and make u remove it, you dont have to take the fcukin headlights apart again.
