I'm interesting in dropping a Mac Mini into my 2007 SL and wanted some info on tapping into my stock nav screen. I've come across some adapters for 04-06, but nothing for 07 yet. Has anyone been able to their stock nav screen with another source of input? I want to be able to toggle back and forth between the OEM nav and the Mac Mini OS.

Also, does anyone have any experience with those touchscreen overlays? I found a 7" overlay screen I can place on top of my stock screen and it plugs into the mac mini usb port.

If you go this route will you let me know how it works? I am thinking of putting either a DVD player or using an Ipod ( w/ video) and getting the Nissan Ipod interface.

Sweet! Thanks for that link. Looks like for $250 I can get an adapter to tap into the NAV screen. It will give me two inputs (I'm assuming RCA), which the site says 1 is for DVD and the other for a backup camera, or any other source.

Now my question is how can I tap into the AUX input in my radio? I'd like to still leave the stock audio jack in front of the shifter, and tap into this input behind the scenes if possible. But then I'm not sure how I'd switch between the two. I think I've seen an adapter for this AUX input elsewhere related to the SAT radio? Can anyone direct me to an adapter like this?
