Baller on a Budget

So there are a lot of things I would like to do to my Maxima. However, I have lots of monthly payments to different institutions and little money left over. I'm not overly concerned with performance. I would be, but I only put on about 6k miles a year on my vehicle so vehicle performance isn't at the forefront for me.

My personal opinion, I really like the appearance of the maxima. It has a wide, yet aggressive and somewhat sporty stance. I figure I would start by tinting the windows, both to add to the appearance while protecting the leather from the sun.

I have also selected the grille I want for my max. Both upgrades I estimate will run me about $200/piece if not a little more.

I'm also thinking about a CAI which should add to the performance without emptying the pocketbook. 19" or 20" wheels and tires are planned but will have to be put off for awhile considering the cost.

I would also like to put an Eibach lowering kit on to increase the appearance of the ride. Would I need to replace the shocks/struts after putting a lowering kit on the car to accomodate the lowered ride?

While I don't like all the styles of the maximas I see on here, I do appreciate everyones individuality and personal touch to their rides. Are there any other modifications I should be considering, whether asthetic or performance related to someone on a limited budget??? Thanks!

fujita cai is a great starter mod..

Also do a muffler swap if u dont want a full exhaust... doing just the mufflers would run around 400 installed...

Fujita is around 260 shipped...

Tint the whole car not just the rears....180?

Grill is a nice idea... 200

Lower is 175?

Go 20" if you are on a budget, I was suprised to find out the limited selection of 19" and the fact that more times than not, i believe due to a limited selection of tires in 19 compared to 20..a 20" package will almost always be cheaper...more selection, more choices.

tint would just be for looks since we have factory UV tint already. I condition my leather containing UV protection as well.

if ur saving for wheels, then a grille makes the biggest effect on a budget.

I say drop the car. That gives the maxima a big appearance upgrade. If you can afford it, I recommend ksport suspension.

If you drop the car don't you also have to upgrade the struts/shocks to compensate for the drop
