Factory XM Setup

Good Day,

I would like to know the quality of the clarity in the factory XM Setup in our cars. Is the clarity CD quality?

Absolutely.

In my old BMW, I had an aftermarket tuner, and it sounded HORRIBLE. The factory setup in the Max sounds amazing. CD quality for sure.

yup, sounds great....
The only thing I wish is that the Steering wheel controls worked as a channel up/down not a preset up/down.

You have 3 banks of presets. You're telling me that you have more than 18 favorite channels? Damn.

Another question, my antenna was ripped off and I need to replace it. Can i get the new ones that are color coded with the car rather than the bulky black ones with the ugly strip?

I am new the the Maxima (my first Nissan), but comparing it to the 06 Pilot I traded, it sounds just as good. I don't know if I would call it CD quality, but I would give it 90% as good as a CD, and as good as the factory Honda set up.
