"The engine speed is a key factor in fuel consumption. The INDY-CATOR helps the driver reduce fuel consumption by up to 15% by means of an adapted driving style."
Translated ambiguous advertising propoganda - "We needed to add more reasons to buy this product, and this one makes absolutely no sense. Just suffice to say - you'll know when your in 6th gear."

this wouldnt work for our car id think:
"Regardless of the brand of the car, the INDY-CATOR fits all manual transmissions up to six-speed (except for gear levers with reverse gear locking mechanism) and is designed to work with every conceivable gearshift pattern. "

Does this company think drivers are complete idiots? If you need to look at the shifter to know what gear you're in, you are totally unaware of your car’s feedback and should drive an automatic. To buy this gadget is to admit that you suck at driving.
And how is it supposed it reduce fuel consumption? Do they imply that drivers remain in lower gears because they think they’re in top gear or because they forget their transmissions have additional gears? That is ridiculous. From a functional perspective, it is asinine. But to be fair, from a cosmetic perspective only, it could look cool to passengers.

you guys are missing the point, its not just to tell you what gear your in, its just a cool addition to add to a cool car. Ppl who see that will be amazed beleive me. Just to add more WOW factor to your car.

let's stare at the ****ing shifter so that we can know what gear we are in and not at our techo-meter or the road so that we can crash and die!
. It'll be safer too.
good stuff...are you sure, the blue LEDs would look super cool!
