Absolutely, IMO it will fit better because the Stillen rear makes for a close fit...

You're correct!!! Cut the GReddy Mufflers off the Catback and welded the Remus mufflers in their place...

So chern for stock exhaust is just a matter of cutting of the stock mufflers and installing these. Correct? And if so is there a way to adjust the tips/muffler so the tips don't stick out so much? I want them tucked in right where the OEM tips are. I don't want my peeps burning their legs when they stand next to the bumper.

My court day is 6/15 but this thing is definitely on my list.

BTW, we installed the grill on my brother's car, it looks awesome on his dark car. I kept my AT because I just spend over $300 on it. I'll try to get some side by side pics of active tuning vs. RLM grill

I agree with xoomer in keeping the tips tucked in, not because it does look great on your car, chernmax, but because my car appears 100% stock. I have to keep it that way due to budget reasons, but I hate the exhaust tips in my car, they're rusting and falling apart...hopefully can convince my wife and enjoy that beautiful sound too :ben:

Could you do a sound clip (from outside of the car at the exhaust) of the exhaust taking it up to a higher rpm like your "greddy exhaust/header" clip?

I have been a newbie lurking in the wings.....i have the same color and year... I have the put the s4 II grill and progress springs and kyb struts.... I can say with no guilty conscience that you have the hottest car on the net.... Honestly if I could I would but even the OEM stick out some, the size of these just make it seem even more. Since I modified the GReddy Catback, that was about the best we could go without having to fabricate a whole new catback. I do like the idea of being able to read the Remus brand and the looks and thumbs up I've been getting are priceless. :king2:

I hate to bring up an old thread, but I love the sound of that exhaust. But I have a 4gen, is the 3.5 noticibly louder than the 3.0 with the same exhuast? Also do you have a resonator too or just the mufflers? I know very little about newer maximas.

3.5 is louder for sure...I think he has a full exhaust... so get took out the resonator...

Does his headers take out the stock cats? So he has no cats? A 3.0 wouldn't be nearly that loud right?I'm prettty sure I saw a resonator. Does anyone know how long the resonator is that I assume came with the Greddy cat-back? I am just trying to get an idea about how loud that would be on my 98 with y-pipe, cat, and same length resonator. I hope with 3.0, it won't be a ticket magnet. I looove that sound. I am definately getting that muffler. Thanks for you help

Thanks fastmax :thumbsup:, as for the rest of the question, yes the hotshot headers take out the entire (heavy a$$) precats. My hotshot headers did come with a high flow cat and extension wires for the new 0-2 sensor locations. The GReddy SP-II does have a more streamlined resonator but yes the sound will be louder, but with more base, not like that "Bees in a Can" sound most ricers have. Yes I agree, they are sticking out a bit too much for my taste. However, they are still the best mufflers I have ever seen and heard.

We are trying to have Remus Austria manufacture an exhaust for the new generation of Maxima, we will keep you all posted.
