Matt@Remus May 11, 2007 03:04 PM

What a change!
I hope you'll keep them shiny:)

Fastmax05 May 11, 2007 03:06 PM

Looks good chern ... Thumbs up to you

I VIK I May 11, 2007 03:18 PM

Nice.... What did the whole thing total out to for you? and any CEL's? or other problems?

coolmax05 May 11, 2007 03:19 PM

Oh yeah!!!

The tips are top notch. They look great (great improvement over the Greddy MONSTER size pipe). Another nice thing is the muffler is no wider than the tips. This helps them stay hidden.

Now onto the symphony...

VQPRO May 11, 2007 03:21 PM

looks good, how dose it sound ,i like the way allblackmax car sound with the greddy and headers ,is your tone deeper than his now

Sound Clips !!

chernmax May 11, 2007 04:45 PM

Thanks for all the props, the sound clips are coming next and please hit up Matt@Remus for pricing, oh and the sound is AWESOME!!! Yes I have to agree, better than my GReddy, but I still have much love and respect for them also, but sorry, this is a totally different class of muffler...

Albert May 11, 2007 04:50 PM

Is there any noticable in output performance between Remus and GReddy?

SmokeNismo May 11, 2007 05:52 PM

Damn that looks sick bro. Dual exhaust tips >>> Single Tip on the max !!

4MySwee May 11, 2007 06:20 PM

I have always liked the dual ported mufflers that come stock on our babies. That was one of my primary for not changing out mufflers and exhaust units.

I'm glad that someone came up with a way to keep the dual port look.

I'm game for some sound clips.....

wayne6213 May 11, 2007 06:25 PM

i am dying to listen to the sound
plz post the video up as soon as possible, i dont think many of us can wait for any longer

Pronto May 11, 2007 07:20 PM

They look WAY better in my opinion. The clearance between the bumper cutouts is not good though. I think I would modify that so they don't look crammed in there.

That I agree, but the tradeoff is worth it...:)

ramberg May 11, 2007 10:32 PM

Looks hot my friend. Did Warren do the install? Was it a straight up swap or did you have to cut any of the piping?

BTW I am getting old, I forgot what set that you brought? lol

Well the great thing about Remus is they have different styles, shapes, and looks so you can get them as subtle or like myself, aggressive looking as you like. In the end it's all about personal preference. I'm posting something new, not taking away from anyone else's setup...

Max_Ash May 12, 2007 08:23 AM

Wow!!

OMG!! it is soo hot.. I always liked remus exhaust on bimmers and VW. I know that they have a setup for the Max. chernmax you had to do it first on here.:sprint:

Correct, there are many styles to fit your desired style.

Did you just change out the mufflers and do they have a exhaust system for the max?

they only sell mufflers at this point, I believe.. probably not enough demand for a full cat-back.

lowpro19s May 12, 2007 10:38 AM

$$$$$$....but hot none the less. But im on board with everyone else ..cant wait to hear and see vids.

digitalbow May 12, 2007 02:01 PM

they look cool, but it looks like they wouldn't fit flush under the bumper you have... i think it would look a little better if you could tuck them back flush with the body. it's just a little too flashy since you have the black thing going on (wheels, tint)

kamski May 12, 2007 02:36 PM

O Wow!!!!!

Chern man,!!!! you really took it up a notch. Thats beautiful!!!

How is the sound, do u have any vids or clips?

Kamski

That's as far back as I could get them without having to fabricate custom piping. I do however like the fact people can see the name. Actually the are less then .5" longer sticking out than stock, I measured my boys OEM tail on his Max, what make it look bigger (farther out) is the diameter of the pipes. But thanks for the feedback, oh and your car is freakin HOT!!!

wow, I've been trying to get this going but after getting a ticket for "unreasonable noise - engine exhaust" I had to put this project on hold because I have to fight the fine. Weird thing of it all is that I have stock exhaust and already have a paper from the dealer that my exhaust is factory and performs to spec so that I can be prepared when I face the judge.

If anybody in NY has experience with this type of fine, please PM me.

spoon787 May 12, 2007 03:26 PM

Absolutely awesome sound. you did it again. must have

xoomer.com May 12, 2007 03:27 PM

On both videos it sounds great.. Do you know if it will fit the same with a stock bumper without a kit?
