I had the power my amp done and there is a cable already going through it so they just removed the rubber groomet and fed it through there. No drilling required. My maxie is in for service but when it comes back I can snap a pic.

When you pop the hood just stand on the driver's side and look down at the firewall and you'll see it. You can't miss it.

Or you can just drill your own hole though.

I did it in the same area, 1" around.

I found a pass through for wires that I ran my Halo's pwr switch through on the drivers side. Using a flashlight, get under the drivers side console and look up in the area of where your dead peddle would go on the firewall, Its in that area. It should also be visible from behind and just below the brake fluid reservoir...

There's a rubber grommet in the passenger side firewall. If you look up behind the glovebox, you'll see a harness going thru it already. There's plenty of room there to get a power wire through. I ran 4g w/ no problems.
