People using my pic to sell on Ebay...grrrr

Well, kinda makes me mad. The one on my car is a different brand then they are selling.

You can almost see the reflection of me in the front bumper.

If you can prove that it is your car...then ebay will take it down. I used a guys pic and he sent me all kind of hate mail saying he was going to charge me thousands for using his picture. Next thing I know my auction was cancelled.

the real question is: why does it matter?

you put the pics on teh internet....so you obviously want people to see them.

I'd take it more as props to your car that someone wants to use a pic of it to sell a product. I don't see what the big deal is, unless YOU are also selling a grille that looks like that and are in competition with them.

Remember how CustomMaxima had a picture of Corey's REDMAX on their front page, even though RedlineMax was a competitor of theirs?

At least they're not using your pic to sell electric turbos, muffler bearings, or blinker fluid.

The issue is that someone else is using his picture to make money. The picture owner should be compensated for this. At the very least, the professional thing to do would have been to ask permission.
