New rims and woofers

These are my new rims and woofers woofers. I also have a new Infinity amp.
I need to get more blue`tubing to finish the wiring setup. The box also has blue neon lights.

Ramberg. What is the brand of your window rain guards? This is the only problem I have on this car is the rain coming in when I smoke. I get soaked.

Hi Ramberg,

I love you're ride! Looks great! Is that a nitrous tank in your trunk?
Also what brand of tires are those?

I need a new set of tires and a dealer proposed Nankang II's ...better than Hankook apparently and a bit less expensive than Falkens...about $160 Can ea(almost at par with US now!). Any suggestions anyone please? Federals are also same price...although I'm not sold on Federals.

By the way, that is such an amazing picture. We love NY and we were there to visit it in October last year. We were lucky with the weather too. It was amazing. Can't wait to go back. I drove a rental to go there....you never know. We bumped in to Actor Robin Williams at a quiet Starbucks on a Saturday Night on 8th. He was in town for Letterman to promote "Man of the Year".

Also I noticed that you lowered your ride with Eibach's like me. Have you had any issues with you front suspension ie the struts. I had both front strut mount bearings and hardware changed under warranty. The struts were changed before and after I lower it. So far so good. I've been hearing complaints lately that some members here that lowered have had to replace their front axles! That's bad! Anyone hear anything about that too? Someone even bought 2 new Nissan OEM springs and raised them back to the original height!

Thanks!

No rubbing at all. When I travel the trunk and rear seat are full with care packages that I bring to florida for family and friends and no rubbing at all.

Thanks. I do alot of traveling up and down the East Coast and I feel that bigger rims would mess up the ride.

[QUOTE=xorbitman]Hi Ramberg,

I love you're ride! Looks great! Is that a nitrous tank in your trunk?

Yes it is nitrous and I have Yokohama tires. I had them installed about 6 months ago and they are quiet and run great in all kinds of weather.

By the way, that is such an amazing picture. We love NY and we were there to visit it in October last year.

Thanks for the comment. I been here all my life and whenever you plan to return please let me know. I will show you places that the sightseeing companies don't take you to. The real NY.

Also I noticed that you lowered your ride with Eibach's like me. Have you had any issues with you front suspension ie the struts. I had both front strut mount bearings and hardware changed under warranty. The struts were changed before and after I lower it. So far so good. I changed my struts once and that was because I brought them for a great price. The ride in this city is messed up no matter what you are riding on. When I travel down south on I95 the ride is so smooth.

I never heard of anyone braking their axels because of lowering springs.

Take care.
