possibly installing sirius in my dads 04 that he just bought. all of the routing and all of that stuff is pretty simple. my question is, before i go tearing all of this apart, if the non navigation/radio hub has a plug in it somewhere for the antenna or what one would need to make a direct connection.

i just got around to looking. i read the instructions, its basically about how to professionally tape and seal the wiring and how to harness the tuner, i just looked at all of the stuff physically in his trunk and realized that there is a plug ready for the install.
