Debadged!
Debadged!
I debadged my car last night. I first used a heat gun to remove the silver top layer-then, I used cleaner wax (thanks Swee) to remove the glue like substance. A little elbow grease but I really like it clean & plain.
Coolmax, I know I'll sound dumb with this question, but what's cleaner wax? What brand did you get?
I removed the pinstripes and still see some residue, I want to clean it all out and so far not so good. It seems that product will do the job.

Try Meguiars ScratchX, it's worked well for me in the past.

It's subtle but keep in mind he is "Sick" with a SE.
Very clean of course! I wouldn't expect anything less. You do great work, as always.
Envy is setting in.....
I have the lip spoiler also, and when/if I work up the courage to start peeling cosmetic stuff off of her, I have to leave the burger on the spoiler.
Must mop drool off keyboard.

I think the tails need to be cleared now. . .or maybe smoked to match the tint? Otherwise, hella nice! you could always get the SS license plate surround that sez "MAXIMA" so you still have some brand Identity. . .or are you trying to hide the fact you're in a nissan?

Kidding! Love the look!

Smmmooooottttthhhhhhh! I love the clean look of a debadged vehicle.
Part of police training in some areas is to be aware that criminals sometimes debadge their cars, as that helps to prevent victims/passersby/etc from being able to identify the vehicle. Because of that, it might be that, in a few areas, a debadged car would draw more 'attention' than a badged one.
But that would seldom be the case with a 6th generation Maxima, as it has such pronounced styling that anyone who has ever looked closely at one would still recognize it, badged or debaged.
I thought about debadging my SL, but decided to keep everything on it so I would not have to replace stuff when it came time to trade. I'm lazy that way.

Maybe I am reading this wrong.
I shaved the nissan burger logo , Maxima, and 3.5 SE ,,,none had holes, just was stuck on there with some black sticky. I had to do a little scratch repair kit after I debaged it though. Had some swirls under the burger.

I could be wrong but he lists his car as an SE which I thought all came with a lip spoiler. For the SL's it was an option or most had no spoiler in which case yes the Nissan Burger can be removed without leaving holes.
That looks clean. Nice work. So I'm about to do this to my 07 when I get a warm day. Are there holes under the 6.5 gens emblems? I also think I'm going to leave the "Maxima" on there so no one confuses it for an altima, and just lose the "3.5 SE" and Nissan logo. What do you guys think?
