Voiding Warranties?

Voiding Warranties?

i am interested in installing a CAI. still have some bumper to bumper and about 3 1/2 years left on my powertrain warranties.

will installing a CAI void my warranties?

Your warranty only voids if the part installed have been linked to the cause of a failure.

it depends, but not likely:
well i had a link in the Mod sticky, but seems post was deleted
They have to prove your modification directly damaged something to void that part's warranty. Never the entire car.
oh and that signature is TOO BIG

however if the warrenty act is what i think it is...

that only when any such "non-factory" devices or parts that is/are placed on the vechicle are the direct cause of the defect will it void warrenty...or somewhere along the lines...

dealerships have a funny way of showing how it does connect. unless you put in a CAI and the rear springs fail...then its much harder to prove that the CAI caused your rear springs to fail. but dealerships will always give you the run around. unless you know someone at the dealership. then your problem is solved...loxl

Common myth, dealership gets reimbursed from the factory with warranty work. Some chooses not to for other reasons.

no they are Zenetti racing 20in chrome rims
