A different tinted taillight idea

I am always seeking out ideas that sets things apart from other. There was a thread here where someone had an idea to paint the tail lights like the new Mercedes S550:

I photoshopped this onto my tails. Its rough looking, but an idea.

I think the darker area should be as black as the body color, much like the S550.

Any ideas or suggestions on something different other than solid tint on teh tails?

I think it could work if done right something similar to the Benz. The photoshopped image has too many lines/angles. Looks like something out of Transformers.

Actually, I like the octagon look of the backup light, and the angles of the brake lights to line up with it.

Id prolly go with slightly thinner lines across the lights, about teh size of the S550 lines. Try them body colored on your car too, Ill.

Check out my thread on the rear valence. See if you can photochop 2 or 3 lower diffusers on my car, too

Hey can we see what it would look like if the lines were tilted slightly inward?

I think that would look interesting.

After applying full pieces, I could only imagine the horror of something with pieces cut out of the middle of it.

The easy solution would be to make it a thin plastic cover (holds its shape) that you overlay on the light vs. clingy film.

Nice... Asantis??

I was gonna say, this mod is MADE for a black car, looks REALLY good on urs with the black/smoke theme going, for some reason ur car has a subtle blue hue to it.... might be just me....

But something like this would be hot! Now.... how about one for the NEW tails???? Would it even need it?
