What do you guys recomend for a nice handling suspension without losing to much of th3 comfort in a SL.. i wasa looking at the tein kit. my buddy put them in his accord and loved them..plus anybody have any good sites to get them cheap

 

a quick fix would be lowering springs and a RSB (rear sway bar)- that helped tighten up the rear nicely. good luck.

IMO, Lowering springs (Progress or Eibach), rear anti-sway bar (Stillen or Cattman), racingline endlinks and maybe a front upper strut braces (Stillen or Racingline) should tighten up your ride and not compromise the ride quality. Should all come in at around $600. not including labor. In hindsight, not a bad price for better handling and a better lowered look!!!

NO NO NO He wants to keep the SL ride. If you want the SL ride do not use the GR-2. They are 20+% stiffer then the stock SL.

You also need to take into consideration your driving environment, if your normal driving is on smooth roads (like we have here down in southern MD) then your handling and ride will be awesome, if you live in pothole central, stiffer shocks/struts will transfer the shock more through your ride and the quality will be degraded. On a good note, your car will handle better at quickly maneuvering around the potholes!!!

It's also another reason why I stayed with my stock 18 tires verse 19's-22's with low profile tires...

 

And for another 100, you can get an Altima SE-R front sway bar. And, no, you wont get more understeer especially if u have adjustable shocks and struts.

 

What Chernmax said as a minimum. Eibach smoother than Progress.

If you have $$$ left, KYB AGX adjustable rear, Koni adjustable front. With those, you make no compromise. Set to soft when your sweety is on-board, or to outragous when alone.
