I wanted to know if it was possible to use the 20 inch FX35/45 on the 04-07 Maximas... Would this be possible to use with the factory rims and bridgestone tires on FX? Would additional fitting and mounting be necessary?

THOSE were the same ones I was lookin at last night... I emailed the guy he said they should fit since they are 5-lug and the offset is somewhat the same but to contact the stealership to be sure.. I hate talkin to them and wanted to get someone elses perspective before I called.... The chrome looks fiya!! I wouldnt mind the aluminums.. I would just need to get some blank caps to cover up that infiniti insignia...

Hey!!
I think it does fit... the bolt patterns for Maxima wheels are 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3 and the same for the FX35/45... the only thing is the tires themselves look very thick... 265/50/20 compared to the Maxima tires.... Would I be able to change to a thinner tread or would they still work?

The tires would NOT work. The wheels will fit fine but they are EXTREMELY HEAVY.

You would have to put them oin some 245/35 or 255/35/20's

So the wheels are tooo heavy.. .thats fine with me! They werent thin enough anyway... but I could get the 245/35's or the other ones and the rim would fit in the tire on that Max, right??? I'm so excited! for you!!! I wanted to get some wheel spacers to push them out just a liiiiiiittle bit.

Which tire size would be better though? 245/35 or 255/35?

1300 bucks? good lord... find some aftermarket wheels that look just the same... and weigh A LOT LESS..

u might not think that the weight is a big deal ... but it really will make a difference ... you will totalllllllllllllllly feel it...

U have heard from many ppl on here... all say they look sweet... but for the price/weight etc... find something aftermarket and save some cash..

do it up man, those wheels will look great. and your looking at about $2000 with tires, which is around what any nice 20" aftermarket will cost you. and if you don't race, which I doubt you do, who cares if you notice the weight, if your looking for a classy look these are the way to go.

if you have the means do it, aftermarket rims are hit or miss, and I've seen 5th and 6th Gen Maximas with Infiniti 20's and I've seen a 3rd Gen Altima with Murano wheels

1500? 2000? Where are ya'll getting these numbers from? I found two people who were willing to sell me the rims and tires for cheap... one for 1190 no shipping and the other for 1250 and 99 shipping.

I really dont race and I hardly drive 30 miles to work and back. I didnt know wheel weight and all that mattered and stuff... I guess there is alot to learn about that. So the rims are heavy, huh? Would they be lighter if i got changed the tires to the 245 or 255's? How much do the Maxima rims weight? Would regular chrome rims and tires of the same size be heavier than the fx's?

It's just that reason I had asked was because I wanted to have factory looking 20 inch wheels... no chrome or none of that if possible. They were the only ones I could think of that had the same bolt pattern and everything. But if it's gonna do damage to my ride I guess I shouldnt take that chance.

Not even close, maby 35lbs or so, In my case they eliminated all wheel hop problems I was getting

Check out my car, but they are from a 06 fx45. They fit perfectly.

Ya it's a 5.5 gen but that means they should fit 6th gen's even better

show me a QUALITY 22" rim for 2k with tires, I'm talking Giovanna, Gianelle, D'Vinci, something along those lines. your looking at $2500-$3000. I mean dont get me wrong, I know you can get a lower quality 22" for maybe around 2k with tires, but look at a nice set of 20's (giovanna, axis, whatever) and your looking at around 2k. And a set of OEM Infiniti wheels are a good, strong, quality wheel.

00semax19, your car looks beautiful man, props.

Rubbing issues are minnimal and I actually ran a better 1/4 mile time than with my 19's that were much lighter. My trap speed was lower but I could launch much better and no longer get wheel hop.

They fit perfect, other than the slight rubbing that went away after a couple hundred miles. they are hubcentric and the offset is perfect. My 19's rubbed on the rear over hard bumps and these only rub on the front with 2 or more people in the car on hard corners. And I'm lowered on Tein S-tech's

The ride is just as good as my 19's were, Almost feels better because I'm running 245/35r20 instead of 235/35r20 so I have more sidewall. At the speedo check area's I'm now exact and was 2mph off so it works for me

I have the SE with 18's and Potenzas and it rides so dayum smooth.. sometimes I think I have the SL.. but they still are really tight in turns and accelerates well when you gettin out the curves... I really wanna get those 20's though.. I dont let no fool ride with me anyway lol I'm lost though...

Whats up man? So even though you got the 06 ones.. it wouldnt matter right? I just want the regular alloy though... I dont like chrome too much... but without lowering or raising or anything like that... they would ride fine right? I dont feel like doing anything extra and was gonna roll with the 245 tires so hopefully the ride shouldnt be harsh or would the 255's be better?.... What you think?

I don't think the year matters very much, And my wheels arn't chrome they are the silver painted. 245's should be fine and go ahead and lower if ya want, I think it looks much better.

I'll try to post more pics in a min

I'm talking about bumpy ride, I live in NYC and roads are pretty ****ty here. I have eagle F1s though.
Also, what do You mean tight in turns? if You're talking responsiveness on the road - yes, but turning radius is pretty big and wider tires will make it even bigger.

My bad I didnt word my questions properly. That is what I meant-- when turning in curves, the wheels hug the road and I dont wobble or lean too much.. I like that... If I was to get those wheels would I experience a decrease in that tightness? I know the turning radius will be horrible but I'm not too worried about that. I just want to make sure the wheels dont do anything else but look good. I'm (locked) on those wheels though. Are the F1's better than Potenza's?

This thread is old! When I finally got those rims from the dealer there was the hugest gash on one and then one of the spokes were bent in on another... I was pissed.. So I went back and they accused me of doing this.. Luckily I was playing around with my new phone and recorded the FedEX guy bringing them to the curbside. I opened them and bam! It hit me like the Midnight Train going to Georgia. So I sent them back and they gave me the 05 rims instead of the 03's. Though it took 6 months to get them!

Ive been trying to get my hands on the Vredestein Sessanta Tires 255.35.20 or 245.45.20 but they are hard to come around and they are really pricey if you buy anywhere other than Ebay.

I should have this done before May, if I can find the tires.
