Fujita Question

Just got my Fujita CIA and where the mass air flow sensor bracket is welded onto the tubing, there's a nub on metal sticking out on the inside.

Should I try and remove this or just leave it be?

Come on now, common sense please! That just looks like some shavings that haven't been removed, so just get a file and grind it down...better now than having it come off later and going into the motor somehow!

Thats what I meant.

I'm not sure how I'm going to get to it though since it's a little ways down into the pipe. I tried banging on it w/ the end of a broom but it didn't budge...maybe I'll just leave it alone.

How far in the pipe is it? If you can't reach it with some 12" files, then I wouldn't worry about it. It appears to be small enough that it won't hurt performance.

But it sounds like you are like me. The tiniest things will bother me!

It's about 10.5"-11" down in the pipe.

I'm not sure the file would work...could only move it like an inch back and forth.

Yeah. If you can't get to it easily, just forget about it. The intake will function exactly as it should and still provide the same gains.

Yeah I just installed it. That little nub is nothing compared to the mass air flow sensor I had to slide in the intake
