Thease are full plastic clip on eye lids, the ones Bat sells are just vinyl and you cant paint them. I'm interested in a set of the ones above.

www.autoaccessorystore.com

Throw in car make and model.

They have three types, Carbon Fiber, Vinyl, and Polyurethane.

Seem's ok. Everything for our cars is expensive. Some people were paying upwards of 100 for them on the 5th Gens. I would never pay 100 bucks for a piece of plastic. Smoke paint might have to be purchased from dealer to get direct match, or painted by a custom shop.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say probably an auto body shop in your area...

Your paint code should be listed on a label visible when the drivers side door is open. You can also "google" for online automotive paint stores and using the paint code from the door order it or like I stated above, a body shop should be able to mix you a batch and ensure color matching...

I didnt read this whole one. But you can buy them from here also if you dont mind the dollar amount...

www.paradox-systems.com

They are $66.00 bucks for the polyurethanes. They also offer carbon fiber looking eyelids.

But best bet is to do the ebay scene. I got mine on Ebay for $30 (plus shipping)

Holla

Whaddya mean? I've never seen that mod before. My Miz is grey too, don't think it would look good with that color? It certainly looks hot on that red.

Now that would be sweet. I would love to do it myself if I could find the matching color, then put on a few coats of clear coat to finish it off nicely. If anyone has that link please do post it.

Ok guys after running around for nearly 3hrs here is what I've finally settled on. I went to pep-boys and matched the closest color to my car in the small dupli-coat spray paint cans. Charcoal Metallic I think the color was (I'll double check to make sure in case any of you other smoke lovin' mizzy's out there want to follow suit). Body shop quoted me $100 to paint them and were very hesitant to even do so due to the flexibility and slick coating of these puppies but they gave me some good pointers on what to do if I were to DIY it myself. And at $100 F that!! I'm all about DIY at this point!

Anyways, I'm in the process of putting on a few coats now and will post some before and after pics probably by tonight.

Sorry Deuce but mine are gonna look a $hitload better! However I am jealous that you didn't have to paint yours.
