Will Lexus LS430 Sport 18' rims fit 6gen?
I was looking for tires for my max and came across 4 2005-6 lexus 5 spoke 18 inch rims with 245/45/18 with brand new tires, 3 rims are brand new and 1 has some curb rash. 2Xdunlop sp5000 and 2 eagle RSAs. I think I could get em for a decent price, plus no mountin balancing expenses, plus I can sell my OEM 18's for ~350-400.
Before I go into negotiations i need to know if they have same offset/bolt pattern.
thanks

The wheel size, bolt pattern, and offset is as follows...
18 X 8 with a bolt pattern of 5-114 with a typical offset of 39mm
Compared with a Maxima's 18 X 7.5 bolt pattern 5-114 with a offset of 40mm
Sounds like it will fit!
The bigger question is the hub itself...
Some quick info on how it all works with wheels-in particular aftermarket wheels...
In order to get the cost down, manufacturers of wheels, bore out the hole on the center part of the wheel that faces the car extra large to accomadate many cars. That way all they have to deal with is lug patterns. Once you buy the "non-custom" wheel you use a "hubcentric ring" to help center the wheel on the hub of your car rather than rely on the lugs to center the wheel. When you rely on lugs for centering the wheel it's called "lugcentric". The term "centric" means concentrated about or directed to a center.
Manufacters of cars (like Nissan & Lexus), make thier wheels "hubcentric" because this is considered the most reliable way of centering the wheel therefore (hopefully) eliminating vibrations due to non-centered wheels on the hub.
So since Nissan uses the same hub as Infinity, G35's and Maxima's share the same hub.
Regarding Lexus, I doubt they are the same as Nissan. If the bore is larger and just as deep you can get "hubcentric" rings to help minimize vibrations or rely on the lugs. If the bore on the Lexus wheel is smaller in diameter and not as deep you're out of luck.
If the person is in close proximity, just drive over and slap on a wheel or two (if they fit). Then take her to 90MPH (in a safe area) and see if she vibrates. If she does I'd take the closest exit back home and look for another wheel.
Here is more food for thought...
"Hubcentric" is another term that is often not mentioned or is misunderstood. A hubcentric wheel is a wheel designed with a centerbore opening to match the exact diameter of the hub of a specific vehicle. The importance is that the weight bearing of the wheel, in reference to the vehicle, is accomplished by the hub and centerbore mating to an exact fit. The lug nuts/bolts' only purpose is to affix the wheel to the mounting surface, not to bear the weight of the vehicle. Often wheels that are not hubcentric create driveability problems--shimmy, vibration, and erratic tracking. Many quality manufacturers design their wheels to be versatile by providing hubcentric centering rings that snap into place inside the wheel, to make the wheel hubcentric. This is an important safety issue--hubcentricity is highly recommended.
