6th gen Injen > all other gen Maxima Injen intakes.

wtf jimmy , why your injen intake looks so different from mine ? , i have an injen with MR technology , the most expensive injen intake there is , liek 288 i payed plus shipping from ebay , and it did really give me a good top end , but i think of trying apexi cone filter , i heard they're really good we'll see
|
does a cold air intake really make a difference? i have a 2007 maxima thinking about getting one but what are the ups and downs on these things???
|
helps more on manuals , and your low end may be a lil weaker while top end better , but sound is HOT

What exactly do you like about the Injen? I think a 1 piece Fujita design is superior to the 2 piece Injen design. I think you're going to find most Maxima owners will recommend the Fujita. In fact quite a few switched from Injen to Fujita. I myself own and recommend the Fujita.
The one piece designs eliminates the chance of air escape too!! I also say go with Fujita or the AEM CAI... Both are about same price, and both are one piece Oh and :sprint: with guys getting rid of the Injen and getting the Fujita... But to be different get the AEM and me and you will be like the only dudes with it hahahahhaa :) |

Hey thanks for posting the pic man. This bracket you bought was already made or did you purchase the aluminum strip and made the bracket yourself? If it came already made can i ask you what the name of the piece is referred to as? Thanks man.

i purchase the aluminim strip and bend it my self.... and i bought the clamp on ebay..... Hope this helps :D
|
Yep, that should do it :). Thanks.

Had a JWT pop charger. Loved it. Have a Fujita now. Love it even more.
Actually, I still have the JWT in the garage somewhere... saving it as a backup, just in case I suppose. :) |
The injen cai is a good intake nice top end power, the only problem is the mounting bracket, its too high and will break, due to the engine moving durning hard shifts, i hade the nismo cai also which is more quiet, but doesn't feel as open as the injen. i turn my injen in to a short ram with a apexi power filter it works great.

Hey what year did you purchase your CAI? Because i PM'ed Chern and he said the newer INJEN CAI have a better mounting bracket than what they had before. |
