easiest way to tell if a motor/tranny has a lsd? going to pick up a new motor tommorrow which comes with a tranny, place said they have 6 6 speed's to choose from.


figured since it comes with the trans i might as well try to get one with an lsd, but i cant find the thread on here that says how to tell


will a lsd trans bolt up with my current axles?

Just checked mine - no LSD dammit.

 

According to the specs on Nissanhelp.com the HLSD was optional on the 04 and 05 Maxima 6 speeds. The 06 Maxima 6 speed changed to TCS Traction Control System and dropped the HLSD.

LOL, u have a 6th gen and live in the chech republic? I thought they only had the Primera in full size cars there?

To make a long story short. I felt in love with my first Maxima, which was the J30. After 10 years i bought gradually 2 Euro Maximas QX A33 (Infiniti I30). The first one is sold and still have the second one(see the signature)... And like 5 months ago i sow the A34 on Ebay... Went to a company, which imports cars from USA/CAN and they arranged everything...

p.s. Primera is a strange car , especialy the latest model P12. I like the previous model P11C. Looks fantastic to me
