Check engine light

Pulled codes tonight, P0442. Double checked the fuel cap, it clicked. I cleared the codes and will drive it. Anyone else had this code and found anything other than a loose fuel cap?? BTW I did a search before posting and found pretty much nothing!

There is a TSB about this problem NTB02-115e. I had the same problem but is was not related to the TSB it was caused by the gasket on the top of the fuel tank not being installed correctly when the tank was put together.

I'm getting the P0442 code. I noticed the intake where the gas goes into the car is pretty rusted/corroded so I'm wondering if this is causing the gas cap to not get a goood seal. I tried a new gas cap from AutoZone but I couldn't get a tight seal at all.

Any other suggestions before I suck it up and go to the dealership for help? I have to pass the state emissions in one week so I don't have a lot of time. Thanks in advance.
