Mack, 13.05 is huge. Kevin007 recently broke into the 12's too. Definitely not weak by any means.

Doesn't know what he's talkin about...

Anyway, nice launch! I woulda been more impressed without the 75 shot but still good run.

Seriously, you guys should get out and have a beer or something. 13 @107mph? Incredible and very impressive. The video? Weak, I can't make out a thing, and the car next to the maxima smoked the maxima. Sorry, I was just hoping to watch it and be impressed. I wasn't. But good show nevertheless. Please feel free to resume flamage.

Not everyone who runs their car at the track is there to beat their opponent. Majority of people I know who run their car at the track do it to see how well their car performs. Regardless of the fact that the Max lost the run, a 13.05 at 107 mph for a Maxima is damn impressive..good work!

I will.

The vid on my computer was clear; clearer than most vids I've seen on this .org. Made out everything including the time on the board.

I didnt watch the vid till now. Nice times but what would it take my 07 to run those times without the juice? Intake, cams, internal work? Could it be done without turbo?

Perhaps it's you that needs the beer. The time/speed given for a 6thgen was great. Poke around a bit more and see what the best is, or has been for our big cars. We aren't little Neons or Miatas (No offense Cutler).

Flaming isn't necessary, but, maybe it's time to look around for yourself for the best times for our cars, especially before pooping on the parade.

Its not about who you are running and lined up against it's about improving your 60', E.T., and MPH unless your Bracket Racing. That was a great acomplishment for me that was my best pass ever until I went out on Saturday the next day because the 12 second bug was still in me and ran a 12.92 and backed it up with a 12.86 on the next pass for my personal best in a maxima(3,660lbs.) that runs 14.8 stock with no mods. You D*** skippy I'm proud of that. If I would of posted no timeslips, you would be screaming I dont believe where are the timeslips, If would of posted no video, you would be screaming no video will there it is and stop

WTF does it matter? The video is to show that he actually ran a 13.0 @ 107 which is exactly what it does. And just because he can't beat a 12 second car doesn't take anything away with how impressive his time was....

Props to him, and thanks for the info. I will stick with my contention that twelves are by no means "weak".

Correction: he ran 12.4. I'm definitely NOT saying 12s are not incredible because they are for our cars. For any car really.

Hey all, Kevin has been puttin down some awesome numbers and handing people their a$$es on the track. He's pretty local in my area and I've run with him at Capitol raceway and he's a standup guy, his success is our success, I recommend we support him, his efforts make other car owners view the Nissan Max in a whole different perspective!!! I plan on joining him...

LOL. Ok well that wasn't a question, it was a statement. And Philo if you read my comments on post #11 I'm referring to the video itself. Man these times are incredible there is no doubt. But when a maxima is tearing up the track like that I want to see it in full blown high resolution quality!!

So to clarify 100% I never insinuated the RUN was weak, I just wish the video was a bit higher quality. So Kevin, all props to you man, w/out a doubt and please keep up the great work representing us Max owners.

Thanks Chernmax for your statement and everyone for the props. My car is a 5sp Auto. Thanks for the spelling correction that made me laugh! I look at it like this there are cars running in the 13's 12's& 11's after being modified that in there stock format that had equall or slower times than our's so why cant we (a 3600lb Family car that is fly as hell) run those times too. Our Maxima's deserve more respect than they get!
