And you can still use your in-dash CD changer and satellite no problem?

shawndon - I'm still unfamiliar with the audio in the max as I just bought an '05. Do you have navigation or is that just a normal video screen? I want to do video in the same stock nav location but I don't have nav.

Is there any way to use a nav screen without the nav?

Is that your radar detector power cable hanging? Chernmax came up with this hardwire set-up. I had it done but if you want to do it PM chernmax for install instructions. I can't find his thread. Here is a picture of the install. Its very neat.
How did you install your peripheral?

Ramberg... It's basically a straight forward install. Check out the instructions I used for my PAC unit. They pretty much match.

Forums are a goldmine my friend. Read some of the stickies and use the search function for some ideas, tips, and quick tutorials on A/V for your car.

No I dont have NAV that is the NESA screen 7002 that we all use when we re-locate the info screen I got mine off ebay. You will have to relocate the info screen down like I did to be able to have video in the stock location.

Yeah I know about the write up about the radar hardwire just never got around to it I will though. The peripheral from Active Tuning is direct plug and play with NO splicing at all. The install was clean and easy. And the sound is great.

I'm going to hotwire my TomTom like that soon too. Love doing stuff like that, much cleaner look. Wire cutters, electrical tape and speaker wire is all ya need.
