Resonator Needed

Does anyone on here have or know of where I can get a stock resonator, without calling a dealership. They want way too much money. I really need one, so could someone please help me out. Thank you.

You can go to any muffler shop to get one installed. It does not have to be a OEM one.

Yes Stock

Yeah I need a stock one. I have a turbo one with Magnaflow mufflers right now but I hate the drone. I need to find a stock one.

I would get one from Summit racing. It is as good as stock. Do some research on mufflers/resoantors and such before making a purchase.

It will be difficult finding a stocker, and then getting it put in etc. Aftermarket is better and cheaper, that is if you can't find one on here.

I'm sure Summit will have one that will quiet your ride. I have headers and all kinds of other gooey exhaust mods, and it sounds near stock no drone, yes, both my resonators came from Summit.

Awesome

Thanks man, maybe I will do that. As long as it sounds like stock then that would be cool. It is just driving me crazy. And no one seems to have a stock one, or anything else that would fit that would sound like stock. I will check out Summit. Thanks again

22" Perforated core is what I would suggest. That's the red one in this pic.

is it quiet?

Is the 22" Perforated core one quiet? I mean does it take out the droaning. I have magnaflows on it now and I would like to keep them on and make it sound almost stock with just a llittle bit of sound.

No drone, whatsoever. I have to remind myself that I actually have exhaust mods. And keep in mind, I have headers, and those by themselves will amplify any exhaust sound DRAMATICALLY.

Awesome

That sounds good man, I just want it to be quiet. I guess I will buy the 22" one, that should work. How long is the stock one? 24"? I guess the 22" one would work the same as stock huh? Thanks again man. Also, is that a magnaflow one you have? If not where can I buy that one?

Actually, the muffler is stock. (5.5 gen). Look on summit for the 22 or 23 or 24" resonator (perforated core, kinad like Cattmans)

You mean the muffler on your car is stock? maybe that is why you have no droan? I wonder if it would still work on my car..

That's a possibly, but the mufflers on these cars aren't restrictive, (both 5 gen and 6th gen) IMO.

Well I will try it. It has to be better then the small one I have on my car now. It would have to quiet it down, they say the bigger the resonator the lower the sound.

Yeah me too. I like the exhaust I got done but it ijust drives me crazy with the droning sound on the highway. Other then that I would leave it like it is. That is why I wish I kept the stock resonator I had, now I can't find one for the life of me.
