do these lights come with the plastic around it (and does it need to be painted to match the body of our car)? Please let me know how easy the install is. thanks! I'm definitely down if no painting is needed.
no painting is needed, the plastic that sits on top of the light is removable, the lights actually sit below that, so you only remove it to install the lights and put it back after you are done,
The hardest part of the install is removing that piece, other than that, is just a couple of nuts holding the light in place. full installation instructions with pictures will come with the lights.

It appears the lights will fit, im basing this decision based on the other led lights for the maxima being advertised to fit the 07s as well, if you want to wait for me to confirm this its ok, I can still give the discounted price to people with 6.5 gens who want to do that, we are planing to do a test fit the lights on a 07 as soon as they arrive, it might taking a little longer for you guys to get the lights though.

i live in southern california...How would we arrange this because taxes alone are 25.00
Maybe they have just a little difference in wiring..., so that's way the Fast is showing different number for the 06/06 and up 
, but i believe they will fit p.s. please don't forget about the amber blinkers...

put it this way, if IPCW has all the shipping addresses and the money they will start shipping them on Monday the 21st, they don't want this lights to take their warehouse space, or any other product the faster you can move it the better, that is why im trying to get people to buy as early as possible so all the info is in and processed by the time the lights get to their warehouse.

I think I am holding off until I see them on your car. I was going to go with the clear look but I am also leaning toward the red now and get rid of the ones I have now. What do you think bro? Help me out!! UGH!!!
PS: Last weekend... this guy asked me what car I had and I told him (just for giggles) I have the Japan version of the Maxima... He then says... yeah my friend has that version also.... I rolled up my window and made a left turn after that....

Bdmaxima.....Yeah i think the blacked out look will look great for you to since you have a black Max.

Bro - as we know taste is a very subjective thing. I personally think that the Red is absolutely the way to go... but of course others will like other colors
Plus, I heard that with the Red tails you gain 21hp (horses), whereas the other colors you only gain 15hp... I dunno about this, but I'll dyno my whip before and after installing the lighs and will post the results.

Looks like everyone is very happy so far with the news. I have a the slate grey color and was looking into the smoked tail lights and the smoked 3rd brake light. Anybody have any input on it?
MAX2DAMAX hey, if I purchase the smoked and I don't like the way they look and end up going with the red or black, how hard is it to return and get another color taillight?? Just thought I'd ask. I will be making a transaction this week if not the first of next week but definitely before the 18th.
