It is actually a good thing that the bags did not deploy my friend.
Dont forget that air bags deploy between 100-160MPH so reaction time between you getting hit and flying out the window is at fractions. Motion of your body versus the air bag deploying could have actually been very bad. Possibly broken nose or worse bud.

Like everyone else... lets thank God that your in one piece. You can buy new rims and seats.... but you cant buy a new head and arms.
