Okay this isn't the stock bulb, but just a pic I found..Anyhow you see where he has the blue smt light, I have a white bulb..What is that, mines never seems to be on...Is it a day time running light or something? I don't think after 3 months of having my 07 that I've seen it on..I messed around today trying to get it to turn on, but no luck..Wtf?.

that thing looks bonerific!

Is there a switch for your fog-lights or something? I know that the 07's actually have fog-lights in the bumper, but an extra switch for that? Maybe it's integrated with your turn-signals?

We do have fog light switches, but that only controls fogs, I'm really wondering why I've never seen mine on..I tried messing with every option today, and still no luck.

If i am not mistaken, nissan calls it a cornering light. When you have your lights on at night, it stays off, but when you put your turn signal on it also turns on so that you can see around the corner. If your driving in a well lit area you can't even notice that it is on, but if your like in the country where they don't have street lights and you put your turn signal on it's like night and day when trying to make the turn.

PS: I don't know if it works with the fog lights turn off.

Why would the cornering light be in the opposite corner where it would be visible?

it's a cornering light, bro - obviously you won't see it during the day, at night - when you hit your turn signal, it should turn on to give you light when you corner, so for example when you turn right, hit the right turn signal and notice that your corners are well-lit due to this exact bulb in the headlight assembly.

now, whoever put this bulb in there, that looks hot, howmuch you pay for it and what led did you use? mind sharing? thanks

Its a 45 led I got from ebay. Its a really tight fit as the bulb is so long and once its in the socket you dont have much room to get it in there. On the drivers side I scewed up the socket and had to order a harness which turned out to be the whole assembly which I had to splice in. I also changed my amber turn signals to a led. Did the rear brake lights as led and changed the license plate bulbs as well. Dont remember what I paid but wasnt much at all. Would have to look up my past ebay purchases to figure it out.

I want to change the bulbs, but is there a easier way, I don't want to risk messing up the harness...maybe by removing something? thanks

Get smaller leds, I was hitting a metal bracket which left me little room on the drivers side. Just take a look at it and you"ll see what I mean.

This is the company I got them. Like I said I would get a smaller LED or maybe a smt instead. Not sure the light output between the both. I actually bought the wrongs ones and shipped them back and this company was great to deal with.

You don't need to buy 3157, this is a dual circuit bulb. You might not be getting full power out of them. You need a 3156 for the cornering light since the light is only single purpose. As far as the SMT vs. reg. SMT just means surface mount technology which is the newest tech out in LED bulbs. It allow for cleaner design and more functional bulbs.

I but all mine from www.autolumination.com and the brake light/parking lights were a snug fit but a minor dremel adjustment and they fit just fine.

Damn I looked today and I honestly don't see how I'm going to be able to reach in there..The passengers side looks doable, but the drivers side, man its tight.
