active, bro. i have it and IT WORKS ! 50 $ - it's worth it

- made my bass thump a lot louder at lower volume levels
- windows roll up faster

so far, that's the only noticeable things I've experienced.

So stillen is ripping people off by charging twice as much for their kit?? Usually higher price, especially since stillen knows there is competition, means higher quality, but I guess there are always exceptions....thanks for the info.

stillen kits was the first kit to hit the "grounding wire" scene...

you can make your own for cheap.... and if you dont want to... buy the active...

they are all the same.... just $$$$ is the difference...

in all honesty, 129 $ or so for a grounding kit is EXPENSIVE ! i would save my money and buy the AT kit, it's cheap and they are high quality Get it from them.

Great post Trance. I was actually wondering what the benefits of the grounding kits were. I assume there are more but good to hear someone did notice a few simple things like this from it.

yeah there are more according to active tuning but you actually feel the bass thump a lot louder, i for sure noticed it and sound clarity is perfect too. in other words, before i needed to crank up the volume to 18 or even 20 sometimes but now at 12-16, it does the job with amazing bass quality.

windows, yeah they do roll up a bit faster, i noticed before there was a time lag, but not nomore.

that's all i've noticed so far, maybe smoother shifts, not 100 % sure - though.

get it bro, it's worth it gluck !

Stillen.

The Active Tuning set I ordered came missing one of the grounds.

I contacted AT but never got a response.

Lesson learned.

I find that very hard to believe. I've spoke with the AT guys on NUMEROUS occasions and they have ALWAYS been happy to answer questions or assist in any way.

So from you guys' experiences, contrary to what AT claims, there is no noticable increase in HP & Torque, Faster Shifts on Automatics, Improved Mileage or More Responsive Acceleration upon installing the AT engine grounding kit?

Bottom line, you will not see any NEGATIVE affects by installing larger ground wires. Larger only means less restriction therefore more flow of energy easier. Whether or not you will see improvements on the car, who knows, but upgrading the grounds cannot hurt so i say DOOO ITTT! MY.02 .

Anyone have instructions to where all the wires are that can/should be replaced? I have been debating doing this, but I have a hard time determining what ones I should replace.
