Wheel Opinion Needed

I saw this set on flEaBay and like the design. Only Con is that they are 18" in which that would be a latteral move instead a increase in size.. Lemme know what you think.. Let it rip, I am not the sensitve type...

My suggestion when deciding on wheels is find this wheel in person and see how it looks on your car, and then buy from fleabay if the price is cheaper. If you cant find them in person, photoshop the wheels on your car, or use the wheel program on tirerack.com. If that doesnt work, find a pic with these or very similar wheel or your color car. I wouldnt purchase a wheel I hadnt seen in person. Its too big of a purchase for me.

The wheel doesnt look bad, but it should be at least a 20". With that big lip the 18" will look smaller then the stock rims.

How much comfort would I have to sacrifice by moving up to a 20"?

BlackSpeed - The 18" are a superior functional size, and for me are noticably more comfortable. Heck, it is easy for me to notice the difference in comfort level just between the 17" (SL) and 18" (SE) wheels.

BUT

If looks are more important than functionality for you (as they are for most on this board), I'd check around for at least 19" wheels, and 20" if you find some you like. Just be aware that top quality 20" rims and tires aren't given away as customer appreciation tokens; They set you back some 'green'.

As always Light solid info, but this brand ADR go for pretty cheap. Here's a set of 20" in black on EBAY for $520. Jump on it!

Wow! That is a very low price for wheels. Regular Maxima OEM wheels probably cost a lot more than that. Best of all, those are rather good-looking wheels. I wouldn't want them on an SL, but they would look spiffy (yep; 1950s terminology) on a modded SE with aftermarket black grille.
