Exhaust Install Jack Points

Exhaust Install Jack Points
I'm going to install my Cattman exhaust today. I've never jacked up the entire front/rear end before, only one tire at a time. I have a Craftsman 2.5 ton floor jack and (2) 2 ton jack stands. Do I just slide it under the rear suspension, jack it up from the rear/middle using my floor jack, and slide the 2 jack stands under the 2 emergency jack points in front of the 2 rear wheels? Help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to raise each front corner separately, and apply a jackstand after each lift.. On pages 6.2 and 6.3 of the 2004 Owners Manual ('Emergency' section), the use of the jack is described.
Briefly, to raise one of the front corners, mount the jack that comes with the car so it will fit into the two little half-moon cutouts on the vertical metal ridge about a foot behind the front tire, and about four inches toward the center of the car from the side (door/rocker panel) of the car. You can see these little half-moon cutouts with the car sitting on the ground by simply getting your eyes down near the floor/ground and looking about a foot behind the front tires and a few inches from the side of ther car.
Please be VERY careful when working under the car. We have lost two folks in the Atlanta area this year from cars falling on them as they worked underneath. Remember to keep the parking brake on tightly, and if working on anything but level ground, always chock the wheel opposite the corner being lifted.
