Factory HID Conversion

Alright, checked the stickies and none of the links seem to work. But my fiance crfacked up the front of her 04 6spd so we're gonna do the conversion. Question is this: are they 100% plug & play? Or do I need to get any harnesses from the dealer?

Well, you need to clarify some here. That being said, if you are looking for "factory" conversion, then you will need the required hardware from the dealership for the project. If, on the other hand, you are only putting in a plug & play kit, then you should be good with just getting the kit.

i think it's cheaper to do the aftermarket conversion instead of swapping in the OEM HIDs. i bought my 9006 HID kit from a sponser here and am quite pleased.

I already have the OEM HID's, but the bodyshop is going to be putting them in. Is it hardware needed from the dealer or just a harness?

Still can't get the sticky to work by changing "show" to "old".

Alright...still confused here. If you can, take a picture of all the parts you have and post it here. Then we will be able to tell you what you will need to complete the conversion.

I can't take a pic because they are with the car now at the body shop. But what I physically have is 2 complete OEM HID Headlight Assemblies. Just want to make sure that they just plug & go or do I need a different harness or plug.

Well, I imagine the wiring harness is the exact same thing from a cost point of view for Nissan. So, the harness, which encompasses the park light, turn light, headlight and the mechanical high beam flap, will/should plug right into the factory wiring harness of the car. I think you will be fine
