Great time! High 12's low 11's would be insane... WHat do you plan on adding to reach those times? Its MUCH harder to go from a 12's to 11's VS going from 14's VS 13's. Either way good luck and congrats on the time...

P.s. Have you ran w/out the bottle? mid 14's?

Your right to go to low's 12's is gonna be huge challenge. I plan on suspension mods a new tire and wheel setup and some other goodies. When I bracket race I'm on all motor 14.3ET @98MPH 2.1 60'

Wow, sounded great!!!!

Thanks! Since I added the Cattman Y-pipe it has really opened up my exhaust note a little more aggressive sounding only when you get into it, I picked up a fair amount of low end torque from it I had to work on my launch again because I was leaving much harder after the install of the Y-pipe.

Nice run! Sounds really sweet too. Last time I was at Cecil it did more raining than racing. All of the fast times come from there. Most will say its downhill but my theory is all the cold dense air the trees hold in!

Kevin,

Are you spraying in first and second gear? What's your window for spray?

I start spraying at 4,500 RPM in first gear anything sooner than I start to get wheel spin and wheel hop which I hate bad on the suspension and other parts.

Thats what I wondering??

I thought you have to reinforce a lot of stuff in order to run NOS??

Ive never seen a 6th Gen run Nos....

very impressive

Absolutely not.

VQ motor IS reinforced. Like Kevlar.

Check the 350Z board, many members running NOS on stock, no problems.

And when I say "stock" I mean stock engine, but TUNED*.

*The key word.

Thanks! With the Zex kit I've been running the 75 shot with my timing retarded 2 degrees I believe I can get away without retarding the timing but I plan to up it to 100shot I rather be safe than sorry. The main things that should be done are timing retarded and 1 or 2 step colder plugs based on what shot your using and a higher octane or chemical adder to help with the combustion process and you can run Nitrous all day long back in July I ran 25 passes all on nitrous at the track and had no signs of detenation.

So a 12 second pass with an Auto tranny and only 75 shot...with no tuning software? Amazing. I'll be running a Utec with a 100 shot, this gives me a lot of hope...you sir should look into the Utec!

DAMN! VERY impressive.

Side strapping your plugs wouldn't be a bad idea. You will be coming close to fuel pump territory with that 100 shot.

Yes you can run 12's but just running a 75-100 shot alone is not gonna do it check out my list of mods on car domain. The mods I do not have yet are: Headers, Cams, Crank Pulley,NWP Spacers, E-manage or SAFC and I'm on stock suspension I still have a lot of torque and Horsepower I haven't tapped into. Word of advise make one mod at a time this way you know what mod is making or losing power it will save you a lot of time and money.
