I just thought it would be a cool touch and wanted to run it by you guys. I got some red tape and cut it in half to see what it would look like on the mirrors.







Opinions, both good or bad?

 

I think it looks okay. Something diffrent!

 

Starting to go a bit overboard IMO.

 

Personally, It'd look nice but there's already too much red on the car, so I don't know - I might have to agree, It might be a little overboard - It'd help if maybe you got rid of the stickers?

 

I put a thinner stripe on. Better?

 

if you take the stickers off from the side skirt then it will look ok..other then that it looks overdone..honestly your car is done lol, I don't really see much as you can do without overdoing it..time for a turbo man ha

 

that's exactly what i was talkin' about - if you want to keep the pinstripe mirror, take off the stickers from the side skirt then it might flow well otherwise it does look overdone.. i personally wouldn't put stickers on a maxima other then the engine bay, but that' me

 

Armoral those tires and it will give it a whole new look.
Drop the red pinstripe.

 

You should name it "Dirty Rice."

 

IMO a red sticker logo would be better

I think maybe if the moldings on the doors were red it'd look better...

 

I could pinstripe the top center part of the moldings

 

I'd like to see the fine pinstripe on both those and the door handles too...

 

IMO it looks hot from the front, but overboard on the side.

I think his rotors are rusty, armoral might make them stand out...just my 2 cents.

Its been pouring rain here guys; thats why the car is dirty and the rotors are rusty - jeeez.

 

deus, if you honestly want to do it - keep the pinstripe mirror, get ride of the stickers and the pinstripe on the doors and you're golden that's how i look at it.

 

I actually like it on the doors more than the mirrors.

 

on the side, honestly - it's a matter of preference - if i'd do that mod, i'd only do either the pinstripe mirror or the door but i'd not put stickers on it so if deus really want to do it then my personal suggestion would be - get rid of the stickers, pinstripe either the mirror or the door depending on your taste

I love it from the front. Might be too much from the side view. I do like the moulding striping from the side.

I kind of like the idea, but not the TAPE idea. If it were to be air-brushed on then it may be more of a "good" different.

The red is starting to push it's luck though...

But I also think if you did the same with the door handles then it would look even better.

I think if its not too thick its looks nice. RED is very out there so its easy to overdose. If you had a black color with say dark charcoal accents it would be much harder to OD if you know what I mean.

Dues, my vote is NO pinstripe. Take the money and detail that baby with a super wax coat and buff out the black mirror finish...

 

The side pinstriping is just added to the car via microsoft paint. Its not on the car.

i think it looks better without the stripes. your car is among my fav 6th gens. don't ruin that look!
