I have the original Nav DVD for my 04 SE still. Would anybody be willing to send me a newer copy 6.3+? I know the DVDs are easy to copy. I am willing to send copies too if anyone wants. I believe most of the DVDs are 7-8GB.

 

easy to copy but would the drive be able to read them if there is some sort of disc verification encryption?

imo, id try to copy your own first to see if it'll work.

 

I am pretty sure you need the upgrade disk with the newer firmware (or whatever nissan calls it) and the newer version DVD maps. I know when you purchase them as an upgrade it comes with 2 dvd's one to upgrade then the other that stays in permanently. I am also pretty sure you can burn them, because they're was a guy selling the 2-disk set on craigslist for $50 ... I just never got around to getting it. At that price I doubt they were originals, but who knows they may have been or may have not even worked.
