Which Resonator

i think i am going to change my resonator. Magnaflow probably because I just put magnaflow mufflers on. From what I have been hearing the smaller the more noise the larger the deeper the tone. i was thinking getting the 18". Would this one fit? http://www.autoaccessorycyberstore.c...tail?no=581612
and also where is the place place to buy them (cheapest)

Get a straight through resonator perforated pipe. I have a 22 inch and its a bit loud for my liking, so I'm adding a second 14 inch. You can probably get an 18 inch and be happy...

Are you keepin stock piping? Make sure the inlet/outlet sizes match up with your pipe sizes...

You should be able to look straight through the resonator and see daylight. You should also not see any obstructions in the pipes (also called louvers). It should just have perforations in the pipe, looking like a bunch of pinholes. Look at the 14 inch I bought:

You can see its perforated and you can sort of make out my refrigerator (kitchen shot) out the other side.

Stock piping is 2 inch I believe. So you want 2 inch inlet/outlet. No workie

I think all the magnaflows are perforated.

I got all my resonators @ www.summitracing.com. Loads of search criteria and usable information, not to mention fantastic prices. :thumbsu Make sure you get dimensions and measure your own car in order to see if the piece you’re looking at will fit prior to purchasing it.
