HID question

HID question
I'm not sure if this makes a difference or not but I installed my HID kit last weekend. I didn't have to trim any of the tabs to put the bulb in but the little metal bar that is on the HID bulb is not facing down. It's off to the side. Does that cause any kind of issue? Thanks.
