Radio with NAvigation

I posted a similar question in the Audio Section.

I installed a JL audio Clean Sweep, It is a piece of turd, with a summing device. I was going to uninstall all the hardware and see if I could run Hi Level convertors to my three amps. Has anyone kept their factory deck with nav and added more than one amp. If you did how did you do it and is it as easy as splicing some cables and cutting into the factory speaker wires?

Get the pac unit, you wont regret it. It gives 2 rca outputs and a remote wire, without cutting any wires. Its the AOEM-NIS2, its what I use in my current and previous maxima to add subs without sacrificing sound quality. You just unplug a harness or 2 behind radio plug them into the unit and the the plugs from the unit into the radio. Here's pacs website for more info ... http://www.pac-audio.com/oem1kits/ao...or+AOEM-1+kits

The Pac unit will give you 2 sets of RCA's for 2 amps but many amps have pass thru or you can just put a y splitter to get a 3rd set. I am a big fan of thier stuff because its simple plug and play no splicing of factory wires... ie. easy to go back to stock when you sell/trade car in (like i did, and used it in newer maxima). The lci6 sounds like a good product but envolves splicing of wires and will be much harder to revert to stock, it sounds like a matter of prefferance... audio is really not that difficult just a matter of how envolved you wanna get.

Everything is already spliced because of the JL unit being put in so I was just going to swap it out and see what happens!
