Just thought I'd share. They match the switchbacks pretty close...

Yeah jsmith...those fogs look like they are in a stock bumper? How did you do it, what did you mount them to, and what kind of fogs are they?? VERY curious..

No, his aftermarket bumper he had on

 

He had the RLM bumper. He had it on there for so long that now it looks weird with out it.

 

Not yet, thinking about it though sometime early next year...

 

Yeah definitely not as bright but good enough for me, I knew that going in though.

 

I've been back on stock for about 6 months now, it's killing me!! With the twins arriving back in October, priorities have shifted a bit, even worse is I've had a replacemnt RLM bumper sitting in the garage (and on '07 rear bumper) for just as long!! But good news is I'm dropping them off tomorrow for paint, FINALLY!!

8000k hids have the same lumens as a regular halogen bulb. So halogen hids. Get it?

I'm not getting defensive or anything but that's the one thing about this site that sucks. Someone always has to chime in with just a bit of negativity and bring the whole vibe down. (and thanks NmexMAX for post #7, same deal)

No negativity at all man. Im glad you love it . I know with my kids i upgraded my lights so i could see and make it safe for them thats all. Im sorry if you took it negative it was not meant that way at all.

 

So "FTL" For the loss, isn't negative? It is always hard to get the emotion (or non emotion) when reading a post, that's the problem with forums! Apology accepts and sorry for calling you out!!
As for the safety of it, you can definitely see me coming, it's not like I put 2 candles in there you know! Plus we got the minvan for the kids (3 total) so now I can have more fun with the Max!!!

 

NO problem man i feel ya. Im just a real lighting person. Like if you look at my car i have leds everywhere hids 4300k of course. And a loud *** fart can so you can hear it if you cant see it. But i do like your max man.

 

Thanks, looks like you got your hands full with twins. I can't complain. She eats and sleeps and she's beatufill and healthy, not much crying and I still get my zzzs at nights. God bless her and her mom.

Now get that bumper back on your maxie, we are so used to it and don't want to see a stocker on your super-duper ride.

 

Ha, we're on the same page, I have replaced every light with LED's (excpet the visors) I plan to do the 3000K HID's early next year. And I will have my fogs back in my new bumper as well, you won't miss me EVER!

 

Yeah I didn't mention that we have a 23 month old as well, so sleep what's that?
