New bumper needed

So I'm on the Turnpike coming back from work on Wed. and there's a huge piece of a truck axle in the middle of 3 lanes, pretty much all over the place; was able to swerve and get out of all that mess.
I'm driving again after work on Thursday and bang!!! a stupid piece of tire in the middle lane, couldn't do anything to avoid it....

Anyway, bumper and grille cracked, hood got damaged too!!! Insurance will cover for it, but now I need your advise to get hopefully a different one from OEM.
If possible please post pics and prices and hopefully links where to find these. I appreciate your help for fixing my baby...

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post for your enjoyment...not mine.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.
I'm still deciding on the 07 bumper/grille or maybe the RLM bumper, depending on the answer from another thread.

If I have to stick with the 04 bumper, then I'll let the insurance get a new one and get the S4.1 grille, I've liked that one for a while.

I know I promised some pictures, so I'll try tomorrow, may be posted late though. I also noticed some scratches; when the tire tread was going underneath my car it hit the door on the side and touched one of the mud guards, they'll have to fix that too. I'll ask the repair shop to check any damage under the car. I looked and didn't see anything major, hopefully nothing serious, but they'll be able to check better. There's also this rattling noise, sounds like a small chirping bird coming from the front of the car, it may be the bumper or a piece behind it touching the chassis.

Update

I had the estimate done, my insurance will pay so far about $1,500, the hood won't have to be changed, but will be repaired. They wanted me to fix it at one of their places, but I'm going with a repair shop that does really good work.

I went today to get their estimate and to get the '07 bumper & grille I don't have to put a lot of extra money which is a great thing.

I hope you can answer a question though:
Will it fit straight into my '04 or does it need any different pieces or something like that? Please let me know, I want the '07 pretty bad.

Also, PICS coming soon, a little late, but almost here.

the bumper and grille will fit however you will need to modify the hood slightly to match the contour lines.. just finished doing that swap on a local members car. looks great.

Bumper & Grille cracks

The tire flipped right onto the hood...yes it was a big tire!
See the pic just below this one, see how far it went

This is the right rear bumper, see the mud guard slightly scratched on the edge; the tire 'exited' my car through here!!!

How difficult is that hood mod? What do you have to do specifically?

I have searched, but haven't been able to find any thread specifically about this issue. Is Presence still a member?

There are grilles, bumpers, etc. on Craigslist.

I saw an 04 bumper that was silver already for around $200.

I recently got into a mild accident so I will have to replace my bumper as well (06 Max) how much is a stock replacement bumper?? ballpark figure that is. I feel your pain SuperMario btw. I was just telling a couple of my friends who helped me bolt the bumper back onto the fender and cover up the hole in the bumper about switching over to an 07 grill and bumper. Hope you get it fixed up soon.

My insurance was using after market parts for the estimate, I think it's like $147 for the '04, but my shop quoted somehow above that for the '07, I don't know exactly how much. Tomorrow I'll finalize the 'deal' with the shop to find out the total cost. I'll keep you posted

You sound like you got into a little fender incident yourself.
I would try eBay for those, I've seen plenty of tail lights in there. I don't know about rear bumpers, but I've seen front ones in there. Sometimes they are in the color you need.

BTW, silver rules

Nope, have to go the cheap route, only replacing new bumper & grille.

If I'd get the new hood, would have to buy new front lights & I believe new fenders also (don't quote me on the fenders), a more expensive solution. In other words, my wife would kill me

See message #15 and go to that link, my repair shop is willing to do a similar solution and guarantees the work while I own the car. He's very professional, I've seen his work on 2 different cars from a friend of mine, so I have no problem trusting the work.
