TSBs...
Ok so I have the wheel shimmy prob like everyone else. I brought car to dealership for problem and they did a balancing and it is still there though better than it was before. They didnt tell me there was a TSB for this, I have an 04 SE. I think they were hiding it to get out of all that work. So should I have had to pay to get it balanced and should I have to pay to have them do it according to the TSB? Or do TSBs get covered under warranty?
Interesting you post this - because my car is in the stealership at this very moment. It's an 04 with 39k miles and that heat shield rattleling noise that many have posted about started developing a couple of weeks ago. I did some research on this site, printed the actual TSB and brought it in.
I will never forget the service guy's reaction when I walked up to him and said: my car has a rattleling noise, and here is the issue and handed him the TSB. The first words that came out of his mouth was: "where did you get this from? This is anti-customer". My answer: maxima.org - and he replied: ahh ok. That was priceless.....
And he proceeds to tell me that there is a diagnostic fee of $95 --- however if the issue is indeed as is posted on the TSB - the $95 fee is waived and the problem is fixed free of charge.
I can't think of a better way for you to approach this. Simply print the TSB for the shimmy and bring it with you!!!

WTF it is not a hyrbird Max it is a hybrid tranny hybrid by definition can mean a combination of 2 things such as automatic and manual ie tap shift or manumatic? how does no one get that. As far as the TSB goes thanks for that info. So they shouldnt charge for a TSB?
Man - talk about real time events -- stealership just called 20 seconds ago and said "yep, it was the TSB and it is now fixed. Except for the oil change, you don't owe anything else".
So answering your question - I am not exactly sure, but I believe if it is an issue under a TSB and the car is under warranty, you do not have to pay for anything...... but I am sure other people will jump in and confirm or correct this statement.....
